Fujiyama earrings, like all earrings by Lebole, are asymmetrical: a Fan to one ear and a Lantern to the other. Fans have Always been an important symbol in theJapanese culture, both for celebrating different cultural, religious or ritual momentsand as presentfor births and birthdays. The point where ribs are fastened is considered as a rappresentation of the beginning of life and the ribs as the possible paths that life can take. The fan as a Whole represents the happiness that can widen to become bigger and bigger, just like the complete opening of the fan itself. The other ear will wear a Lantern, typical of Japanese gardens, meant as a pointof transit and purification of the soul. Earrings made with ancient Japanese kimono silks spread with a special procedure on a very light wood core.
The stones that enrich the kimonos are all natural stones mounted with gold-plated brass elements.
Length 11 cm.
All the pieces are unique, one different from the other, the fabric of the earring that will come to you will never be the same as the one you saw in the picture. The only thing that remains unchanged is the color of the stone.
